Every Student Reaching Higher

Mission Statement: To develop community resources to help students succeed.

History: Highline Schools Foundation for Excellence was established in 2001 for the purpose of developing community resources to help Highline Public Schools students succeed. We believe that by helping to enrich the classroom and school experience, we can engage students to reach a higher level. The Foundation is governed by a dedicated group of volunteer Trustees and is the only 501(c)(3) organization supporting all 32 Highline Public Schools. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed more than $250,000.

Meeting the need: Foundation Board of Trustees focus efforts on four key areas:

  • Academic Achievement
  • Classroom Enrichment
  • Scholarships
  • The Arts
