Board Meeting Schedule
With a few exceptions, the school board meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Educational Resource and Administrative Center (ERAC), 15675 Ambaum Boulevard SW, Burien, 98166, and at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month at various locations throughout the district.
Occasionally the Board will conduct a work-study session prior to or after the regular meeting. Please feel free to call Jan May at 206.433.2217 to confirm meeting dates, or inquire about agenda items, should you have a particular interest in some subject. Only one copy of correspondence addressed to the Board of Directors is necessary. It will be copied and each Board member will receive it in the next outgoing board packet. Correspondence should be sent to: Board of Directors, Highline Public Schools.
Individuals who wish to address the School Board at a meeting may do so as a "scheduled” speaker during the Communication portion of the agenda. Scheduled speakers must call the District Office at 206.433.2217 by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting in order to be included on the agenda. Scheduled speakers are allotted five minutes.
Those who wish to address the Board but have not called by the deadline may sign-up to speak during the Unscheduled Communication portion of the meeting. Unscheduled speakers are allotted two minutes toward the end of the meeting.
